We promote interdisciplinary collaborative research with the aim of building a sustainable future where nature and humanity coexist.
This program offers six fields at the master’s level and three fields at the doctoral level. It aims to solve a wide range of issues related to energy, resources, ecosystems, food, society, and the environment, and to build a sustainable future where nature and humanity coexist.
To achieve this, faculty members with diverse expertise in fields such as engineering, fisheries science, environmental science, and information and data science conduct fundamental research using their respective scientific and technological disciplines. They also promote interdisciplinary collaborative research both within and outside the university, and cultivate human resources to support these efforts.
