Educational Philosophy, Goals, and Three Policies
・Educational Philosophy
By bringing together the technologies and expertise of engineering, chemistry, fisheries science, environmental science, and information and data science, we contribute to regional revitalization through initiatives such as renewable energy development, the promotion of water environment technologies, national resilience, disaster mitigation, and coexistence with the environment, as well as the utilization of fishery resources. We contribute to technological innovation rooted in regional development and the construction of a sustainable society. To realize a carbon-cycling society, we create cutting-edge technologies and train researchers and highly specialized professionals capable of solving global critical challenges.
・Objectives
Under the guidance of experts from various fields, students will acquire cutting-edge technologies and academic knowledge while studying advanced specialized fields that encompass other disciplines, thereby developing the ability to contribute to solving diverse problems.
・Features of the Graduate School
  • Four unique academic programs are provided.
  • Both the 3 year program and the 5 year program are offered for doctral degree.
  • Students can choose their degree according to each field of academic program.
  • Students can learn deeply through a rich selection of elective courses within an interdisciplinary curriculum.
